As part of this 160th anniversary, the Sisters invited their communities and the public to help create a time capsule for the next generation.

The time capsule will be placed on display in their new home planned for the property next door, where it will stand as a visible connection between the Sisters’ history, their continuing mission, and the generations whose lives they have touched.

It will remain sealed until the day the last Sister of St. Joseph of St. Augustine is called Home.

This website is a digital repository of every single contribution. Each submission reflects how the Sisters’ love in action has shaped a life, a community, or a memory.

Through Saint Joseph Ministries, the works the Sisters founded will continue to serve the Dear Neighbor without distinction through a new generation of hearts and hands. With each life touched, new stories will be added to a legacy that began more than a century and a half ago—stories to be remembered, lived, and shared.

Generations have been changed by the lives of the Sisters.
The love they set in motion will have no end.
